Apr 9, 2018Sharp, 88, of Branson West, will be held March 19, 2018, at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson. Chaplain Brian Nebel and Pastor Sam Stauffer will be officiating. Burial with full military rites will be held at a later date at the Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kan. Cremation and services are under the direction of Snapp-Barden Funeral home and Crematory in Branson.He died March 13, 2018. Charles was born March 7, 1930, in Dallas, Texas, son of Raymond and Gertrude Berglund Sharp. He married Alta Brown Jan. 29, 1949, in Irving, Texas. He served in the United States Navy for twenty years in active duty and six years in the Naval Reserves. He retired from the Navy with the rank CM2. After retirement he purchased Crue Cut Manufacturing which sold and serviced lawn mowers and manufactured mini cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a greatgrandson.Survivors include his wife; children Gary Sharp and wife Kaye, Linda Jones and husband Vearl; brother-in-law, Buddy Brown and wife Jean; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
